Reporter Attempts To Blame Trump For Democrat Allegedly Stabbing Investigative Journalist To Death [VIDEO]

After losing his primary race back in June, Clark County Public Administrator Robert Telles of Las Vegas, Nevada, found himself at the center of a murder investigation when reporter Jeff German, who reported on the Democrat’s failed campaign and his tactics of bullying and favoritism, was found dead after being stabbed seven times outside of his home. Prosecutors focused on Telles after DNA was found on the hands of German. The DNA matched that of Telles. After being arrested, Telles stood in front of a Judge who ordered the suspect to be held without bail [1]. But while the topic of a Democrat viciously killing a reporter only doing his job should be alarming, it seems that other journalists care little about the facts and more about the politics of the issue.

Trying to convey the details of the ongoing investigation, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo held a press conference where a reporter tried to discuss the correlation between the murder and Donald Trump. But as can be seen in the video below, Lombardo wasn’t having any part of it as he quickly shut down the question. While Telles was a known Democrat, the police department is treating it much like any other murder investigation. He did say, “This a terrible and jarring homicide. One that has deeply impacted Las Vegas. Every murder is tragic, but the killing of a journalist is particularly troublesome.”

As for 69-year-old Jeff German, the judge overseeing the case stated, “He was fighting for his life. It appears from this report that Mr. Telles was waiting … and called (German) over to the side of his own home.” While not giving away too many details of what took place, investigators admitted that Telles was increasingly agitated about the reporting of his office by German.

Having worked as a reporter for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, executive editor Glenn Cook released a statement expressing relief that Telles was caught. “The arrest of Robert Telles is at once an enormous relief and an outrage for the Review-Journal newsroom. We are relieved Robert Telles is in custody and outraged that a colleague appears to have been killed for reporting on an elected official. Journalists can’t do the important work our communities require if they are afraid a presentation of facts could lead to violent retribution. We thank Las Vegas police for their urgency and hard work and for immediately recognizing the terrible significance of Jeff’s killing.”

Before the primary election, Robert Telles blamed seasoned reporters for exaggerating a supposed relationship he had with a female staffer. There were also accusations that the Democrat mistreated some who worked with him. At the time, he declared, “All my new employees are super-happy, and everyone’s productive and doing well. We’ve almost doubled the productivity in the office.”

Telles will stand in front of the judge once again on September 13 for the murder of Jeff German.
