Besides their ongoing fight with COVID-19, the Democrats focused a great deal on the future generations of tomorrow. They even pushed the controversial COVID-19 drug on children and babies as young as six months. But on top of their health, the Democrats put a great deal of thought about the education they received. All over the country, Democratic strongholds pushed outlandish ideologies on children. Just over the past few years, parents flooded school boards, revealing the books and information being taught to them. It included teachings about transgender ideology and children’s books focused on sex. As a result, Republicans and key members like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis decided to stand against what appeared to be an entire movement of Groomers.

Gaining a massive amount of support from celebrities like Joe Rogan, Professor Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro, and even author James Lindsay, the movement of woke teachings stepped into the spotlight. Lindsay recently discussed what is deemed Groomer panic and how much the left fought against the idea. According to the author, the reason for the anger is because it is true. Take a look. 

Although there have been numerous accusations thrown at both the left and right, the idea of groomers taking key positions in government and within the classroom caused even Ron DeSantis to take action. He passed the parental rights in an education bill that banned children in lower grades from being taught about gender identity. 

As a result of the stance taken by the GOP, senior opinion editor of The Daily Beast, Anthony Fisher, described the people supposedly stoking the groomer panic as nothing but “anti-left.” “These people claim to be lifelong Democrats. Some of them say that they were Bernie Sanders supporters, and they’ve not had a nice thing to say about a single Democratic politician or liberal commentator or liberal idea in the last six years… I think they’re more defined by what they’re against rather than what they’re for.”

Fished added, “a lot of these people are anti-left. All the things they see on the left are things that are ‘threatening Western civilization,’ which is why they latch onto people like Tulsi Gabbard, somebody who’s nominally a Democrat… but, for the most part, seems to be playing toward the MAGA right audience.” 

And pointing specifically to James Lindsay, the outlet described him as being a  “Trump-supporting, Big Lie-espousing, vaccine-denying, far-right bigot.” With Lindsay, like former President Donald Trump, banned from Twitter, the Daily Beast printed, “However arbitrary the enforcement, Twitter exercised its free speech rights by swatting away a gnat—one that needs Twitter much more than Twitter needs him—away from its table.”
